We are looking for an exceptional, hands-on, Technical Sales Engineer for all Sales related activity at Yottabyte.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for all Sales related activity.​
  • Deliver compelling and effective technical demonstrations designed to communicate how Yottabyte technology will meet and exceed prospects and customers requirements.
  • Meet with new prospects and existing customers, document technical requirements for sales opportunities, and provide technical support, consultation, and product demonstrations.
  • Assist Sales and Marketing to plan, create & manage customer case studies.
  • Assist in Sales lead generation and qualification activities.
  • Work in a fast-paced team-selling environment and must be successful managing multiple sales opportunities simultaneously – as well as assist in other areas of the organization, outside of direct sales and marketing, when required.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of Sales, Technical Presales Support, or Sales Engineering Experience.
  • Strong understanding of networking/routing, virtualization, and cloud offerings.
  • Strong written technical responses to customer requests; including RFPs and related deliverables (Slide Shows, Solution Maps, etc.)

The primary objective of an Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to deliver the Yottabyte Software value proposition to qualify prospects/clients, demonstrate solutions to their business objectives, and follow up with customer care. You will drive pre-sales and marketing activities for Yottabytes complete product offerings. The ideal candidate has a passion, general experience, and knowledge of cloud, software solutions and I.T. Infrastructure Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Yottabytes Solution, industry trends, and competition
  • Deliver/Articulate the Yottabyte’s value proposition.
  • Conduct pre-call research to gather company and contact intelligence
  • Make daily outbound calls and send targeted emails to prospects/clients to initiate and nurture meaningful business relationships and to uncover new opportunities
  • Participate in the creation of email and phone campaigns into target markets and companies
  • Engage in solutions-based business-level conversation
  • Work closely with Field Sales by participating in regular cadences
  • Ensure execution of the sales process by moving new opportunities successfully through the funnel
  • Work with Sales Leadership and other critical company resources to meet or exceed company goals

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous B2B sales experience selling a plus
  • Ability to develop an in-depth understanding of each client’s needs and to propose appropriate solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn and absorb new information quickly
